Protect Our Privacy: Scrap the Online Safety Act
We are calling on the UK Government and Parliament to urgently repeal or amend the Online Safety Act to protect the privacy, security, and freedom of every citizen.
The Online Safety Act threatens privacy, security, and free expression. By undermining end-to-end encryption, it risks exposing private messages to hackers and mass surveillance. We urge Parliament to repeal or amend the Act, protect secure communications, and consult experts to create laws that keep people safe without sacrificing fundamental digital rights.
