Restrict digitally altered / 'photoshopped' images in magazines
Magazines should include clearly-visible disclaimers on any photos printed that have been digitally altered.
This will discourage unhealthy eating habits, which lead to mental health conditions such as anorexia nervosa, which is particularly problematic for young people who identify as female.
Additionally, modelling agencies should be required to certify that the models they hire have a sufficiently healthy BMI-index (or other suitable measure).
This will aim to prevent fashion models from losing weight to the detriment of their health, as well as safeguard the well-being of others who may follow them.
This is inspired by the law passed in 2012 by the Israeli government, which came into effect at the start of 2015.
