Stop the 'Brit Card' – Protect Our Freedoms
Halt the rollout of the "Brit Card". Protect citizens’ privacy, prevent government overreach, and preserve individual freedoms. Do not link healthcare, housing, and benefits to a single state-controlled app.
Halt the "Brit Card". Linking it to healthcare, housing, and benefits risks misuse of personal data, threatens civil liberties, and will not solve illegal immigration. Centralising info digitally could cause unforeseen problems. The UK has a long tradition of freedoms pre-dating the Magna Carta, which this app could undermine. We are governed and policed by consent, not by force, and this represents government overreach and a serious threat to personal autonomy and privacy.
