E-Petitions policy in dire need for an urgent review as constitutionally unsound

Petition Details

In Mr Pymme's Speech in the House of Commons 17th April 1640 - he declared "Parliaments are those which purge us from all errors, & prevent others to come"

Yet it is our petitions which are receiving the purging and not parliament because we do not get past an outrageous standards policy

Additional Information

In the Book "Addresses, Remonstrances & Petitions commencing 24th June 1769 presented to the King & Parliament from the court of common council page 17

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
