Make the US Honour UK–US Extradition Treaty & Protect British Nationals’ Rights
We call on the UK Government to ensure that the UK–US Extradition Treaty is upheld and that the rights of British nationals are fully protected. This includes ensuring evidence standards meet UK requirements, that detainees are told of their right to contact the British consulate,
and that no extra charges are tried beyond those approved in extradition.
The UK must act to protect its citizens and ensure fair treatment, just as we do for US nationals in Britain.
