Add Welsh, Irish, and Scottish Gaelic languages to English national curriculum

Petition Details

As additional options students can take in class, the English curriculum should feature Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, and/or Irish. Similar to how French and Spanish is commonly taught.

Additional Information

Officially, we are the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but we think the English education system doesn't do enough to encourage understanding of the other languages spoken in the UK. To help encourage cross-country relationships and a more respectful relationship between Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England, we think the English curriculum should offer the opportunity to learn these languages.
