Let students wear school uniform but change their appearance in other ways.
Students should be able to express themselves whilst still wearing the school uniform. I believe that having dyed hair, wearing jewellery, doing makeup, having piercings etc, should not be against school rules as many children are finding their identity especially during teen years.
It’s not okay for schools to stop students from finding their style or expressing themselves especially when it does not affect their learning or ability to learn. School is about educating students and if they believe that changing their appearance to help them feel good deserves punishment then is school really inclusive to everybody?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
School uniform, hair and jewellery policy is a matter for schools themselves.
You could reach out to a particular school to request they change their policy.
