Increase Government Funding for Access to Weight Loss Medications on the NHS
We urge the government to increase funding for NHS access to weight loss medications. Obesity is a growing crisis—these treatments save lives, reduce long-term health costs, and support those struggling to lose weight through other means.
We urge the government to increase funding for greater NHS access to effective weight loss medications. Obesity is a growing public health crisis linked to serious conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. While new treatments are available, access through the NHS is extremely limited, leaving many without support. Wider access will improve health outcomes, save lives, reduce long-term NHS costs, and ensure fair and equal treatment for all, regardless of income.
