Ban fines for parking overstays of less than one hour

Petition Details

Amend relevant legislation to stop parking companies from charging extortionate fines for those who overstay for less than an hour.

Additional Information

Private parking companies can charge what they want, for instance £100 or £60 depending if you pay the fee in time. People have been fined for being over the time by a minute and others if less than an hour. There should only be fines after more than an hour of overstay. I believe many parking companies do what they want when they want and it needs to stop
