Petition Action

parental absence syndrome

Additional Information

it is quite common these days for a someone (man or woman), who has gone through a messy divorce to have they're children deliberatly brainwashed into shunning the absent parent.
The carer parent deliberately makes false allegations to draw out court proceedings and the financial burden on the absent parent is horrendouse, parental absecnce syndrome should be recognised as a criminal offence and should be prosecuted historically so an attempt for the absent parent to rebuild a relationship with they're child is possible.
Obviously if someone has been convicted of abuse or domestic violence in front of the child they should not have contact, but to be constantly accused of all manner of things just to punish you for walking away from your spouse is wrong
