Hold a full public inquiry into the Voreda House project in Penrith, Cumbria.
Voreda House was intended to be a customer-focused headquarters for Westmorland and Furness Council, with an initial budget of £2.3 million. However, costs have now escalated to £8.5 million, while an independent valuation places the building’s worth at just £2.3 million.
Hold a full public inquiry to investigate how public funds were spent on Voreda House, identify any mismanagement or wrongdoing, and ensure those responsible are held accountable.
