20.3% of eight to 16-year-olds had a probable mental disorder in 2023 (NHS England); early intervention in primary and secondary school, supported by Mental Health First Aid trained Teachers can support children during this challenging period. 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14, it is vital the people who see children every day have the experience, knowledge and tools to support young people
