Petition Action

Ban Homework and reduce school hours.

Petition Details

The Government and Parliament must reduce school hours from 8:30 - 3:30 (on average) to 9:30 - 3:30 to help children get better sleep and to ban teachers or anyone to assign homework or to be set any task. Please make sure this can be sorted out by the end of the end 2025-26 academic year.

Additional Information

Children and teenagers are suffering from anxiety, depression and also stress. This can lead to students facing a lot of pressure if they want to receive a good life. Homework is also not good for teachers as they will also have to spend time marking each homework and potentially grade them as well. This will help both children and teachers from exhaust.
