Reinstate the 'Hue and Cry'
Bring back the idea of the Hue and Cry as a public call for help.
We, the undersigned, think that the current method of gaining the attention of law enforcement is ineffective and lacks communal responsibility. The hue and cry would allow any person who is in immediate danger / witnesses a crime to summon the attention of any able bodied citizen or police officer.
