No more than 20% interest on credit cards, catalogue accounts etc.
There should be immediate legislation introduced to prevent and deter companies including credit cards, catalogues and other card shopping accounts from rising their annual interest rates for customers above the rate of 20%.
Too many companies are blatently adding to the debt crisis and adding punishing interest rates of anything up to 40% (percent) plus APR in order to punish the majority of customers who use their account.
These companies are "profiteering" unfairly. Whilst they have a right to make a profit, it should not be unfair, unjust, or obscene. At the moment, it seems those who need these companies "services" the most are the ones being the most punished with unethical and unjust interest rates. NO MORE THAN 20% INTEREST APR!
