Review enforcement of loading area restrictions and penalties

Petition Details

Look at stronger penalties and enforcement for people parking in loading areas. HGVs can find it hard to navigate towns and complete deliveries because of nuisance parking.

Additional Information

So that HGVs can deliver to shops. We think that if this problem keeps increasing with many people on the road and not enough enforcement, deliveries will be prevented, affecting shops. Some HGV drivers find they have to park illegally and nuisance park because cars and non-essential vehicles are parked in loading bays and service areas.
