Create a mechanism for UK citizens to trigger general elections
Waiting years for a failing government's term to end harms our nation. Citizens deserve the power to call general elections when leadership demonstrably fails us.
Require 10 million verified signatures within three months to trigger an early election, preventing frivolous attempts whilst addressing genuine national discontent.
Have a six-month gap between petitions to maintain stability. This balances democratic accountability with governmental continuity, ensuring leaders serve the people or face electoral consequences.
