All information to be shared between GPs and Hospitals, to safeguard children
Make it legislation that all information between GPs and and Hospitals are shared, ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of both adults and children.
Vice Principal, working in North East Lincs. On a recent visit to A & E with my wife, she was asked the names of her various meds, we asked them to look it up on the system, which they could not as this information is not shared between services. The Laming report 2003 following the Victoria Climbie death partly states “Poor co-ordination, a failure to share information" I feel my proposal is a crucial element of information sharing, that would allow safeguarding issues to be dealt with swiftly.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government and NHS are already developing the Single Patient Record. You can find out more about it here: www.england.nhs.uk/digitaltechnology/the-single-patient-record/
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what else you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
