Turn the street Lights back on, make the streets safer for everyone.
The streets no longer feel safe and it is even worse in the dark. People do night shifts, start at different times of day, when hospital staff, fire people, ambulance, and police turn up in the dark to people makes things harder. People go out and don’t necessarily want to walk home in the dark.
Make the streets safer.
I go out early running but it is scary now the streets are dark.
Years ago when I had stuff going on and a run would help my head I could go out at any time and the lights were on, now it is scary.
Gives robbers chance to break in and get away unnoticed as they dress in black clothing and the streets are dark

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Your council is responsible for the installation and maintenance of street lights, not the UK Government or Parliament.
You could also raise your issue with a local councillor who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
