Petition Action

Stop the increase on immigrant workers’ minimum stay in UK before PR

Petition Details

Abolish the planned laws to increase to the minimum time and salary threshold that legal, trained, English-speaking, professional immigrants have to work in the UK before attaining a permanent residency.

Additional Information

A lot of qualified professionals on skilled worker visas who have paid their taxes and immigration bills their entire time here are coming close to the end of their skilled worker visa. We were a compassionate nation at the end of WWII and rehomed a lot of holocaust survivors. Why can’t we do that now? The illegal immigration statistics should not affect the legal immigrants. If we lose legal immigrants the economy will collapse; the statistics say it for themselves. This will uproot their lives
