In the U.K. The stunning of an animal before slaughter is considered the most humane treatment of an animal to be slaughtered.
It is now time for us to raise the bar of animal welfare standards across the whole country and outlaw the slaughter of all animals in non-stun abattoirs within the boarders of the U.K.
Consumers of meat residing in the United Kingdom who demand meat from non stunned animals should source their meat from countries where this means of slaughter is not considered contrary to animal welfare standards.
