Call for a national referendum on the introduction of Digital ID.
I think the introduction of digital ID is a suitable subject for a national vote especially following the vast number of signatures on a recent petition against the government's plans.
As this was never mooted in thus government's election manifesto, I would suggest that draconian changes to our civil liberties, such as the one proposed, should be a matter for national referenda now and in the future.
