Petition Action

Hold a Referendum on whether or not to introduce a Digital ID system.

Petition Details

Hold a Referendum on whether or not to introduce a Digital ID system. The Referendum should be open to anyone that would or could have a digital ID in the proposed Digital ID system.

Additional Information

The proposal to introduce a Digital ID system is controversial and should have the support of the majority of the citizens in a democratic society. Because of the potential for such a system to be a step towards mass surveillance and digital control the Government needs to ensure that the introduction of a Digital ID system is seen as a benefit to the majority it's citizens.
