Let the people decide on Digital ID through a national vote
We ask the UK Government to hold a public vote before introducing any Digital ID system.
All adults in the UK — citizens and residents — should decide.
This is about democracy, transparency and trust between people and Government.
Many people are worried about privacy, freedom and possible misuse of Digital ID.
Such an important decision should not be made without the consent of the people.
Let the people decide through a national vote.
