All Gov petitions must be signed off by MPs name and party.
I want to see the names of the elected MPs and which parties they represent. I believe this is a democratic right.
I do not always feel represented, and believe some responses to petitions are AI generated. I would like to know that the outcomes of debates are being conducted by MPs who understand the topic. For example, it is unproductive to have MPs who may have a working knowledge about roads and congestion debating maternity services.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You can look up all MPs and their parties here: members.parliament.uk/members/commons
You can read transcripts of petition debates on Hansard and watch them on YouTube and parliamentlive.tv.
