Petition Action

Increase the number of bank holidays in England & Wales to 10 days

Petition Details

Bring the number of bank holidays in England and Wales in line with Northern Ireland, so that there are 10 ban holidays per year in England and Wales instead of the current 8.

Additional Information

We believe that it would be reasonable and equitable to bring the number of bank holidays in England and Wales in line with the rest of the country, in order to promote consistency across the UK. Providing 10 bank holidays annually could support employee wellbeing and productivity.
