Introduce Proportional Representation for UK Elections
I want the UK Government to replace the First Past the Post voting system with Proportional Representation, so every vote counts equally and seats in Parliament fairly reflect how people vote.
The UK’s First Past the Post system is unfair - millions of votes don’t count, and smaller parties are ignored. Proportional Representation would make every vote matter and reflect people’s real choices. Countries like Germany and New Zealand use PR successfully, creating fairer, more cooperative governments. The UK should modernise its democracy so Parliament truly represents the people’s voice.
