The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Investigating road traffic accidents and pottential crimes are a matter for the police. If you think a crime has been committed, you should contact the police: www.police.uk/pu/contact-us/

If you have concerns about your local police you could contact your local Police and Crime Commissioner, you can find out who that is here www.apccs.police.uk/find-your-pcc/

You may also wish to contact your local MP. You can find out who that is here members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
