Stop Ltd companies offsetting loan interest or other expenses for rental income

Petition Details

We believe there’s a total disparity in an individual buying a house to rent and not being able to offset loan interest payments or refurbishments and updates to property that are considered ‘capital expenditure’ against rental income, whereas as Ltd company has these tax advantages.

Additional Information

We want the Government to tax Ltd company rental income in the same way an individual gets taxed on property rental income.
