Provide equal NHS funding for all Hospices

Petition Details

Up and down the country, there is clear inequality within the NHS funding for palliative and end of life care. The aim of this petition is for a change to the funding so that all hospices receive the same amount.

Additional Information

People should not be denied care because their postcode. Some hospices in the country are fully funded by the NHS. Whereas, others provide the same standard of care but are partially funded, and are fighting to stay open.

There are concerns that if hospices close many people could die in unsuitable placements. We need to safeguard our hospices for the future.
