Improving Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) care in hospitals and GP practices throughout the UK
We, the undersigned, ask the Department of Health to ensure that: EVERY woman is routinely given accurate information about HG during antenatal care; every woman is offered medication in pregnancy. HG is a pregnancy condition which often goes undiagnosed and untreated.
Treatment for pregnant women would reduce abortions and repeated hospital admissions for moderate to severe cases.
30% of all hospital admissions under 20 weeks are for HG yet actual diagnosis figures do not reflect this.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Neither the Department of Health nor the Government are responsible for the care given to individual patients, which is a matter for trained clinicians.
