Call for legal review into the decision to invade Iraq in 2003
We ask the Government to request an independent legal review of the 2003 Iraq invasion and refer any credible evidence of wrongdoing by officials to the relevant prosecuting authorities, including the ICC
The 2016 Chilcot Inquiry found the case for war in Iraq was overstated and peaceful options had not been exhausted. 179 British service personnel and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians died. The public deserves full accountability and transparency

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It isn't clear from whom you are suggesting that the Government should request an independent legal review of the 2003 Iraq invasion, nor is it clear whether you are calling for this body to be UK-based or extra-territorial.
