• Build a significant amount of Green bridges across the UK to protect wildlife
• There are a significant amount of animals killed on roads every day;
Annual road kill estimates
Foxes: Up to 100,000
Badgers: Up to 50,000
Deer: Up to 50,000
Birds: Approximately 30 million
Hedgehogs: About 29% of the population, which may contribute to their decline.
• Deer-vehicle collisions cause thousands of injuries and dozens of fatalities annually, with one source estimating around 74,000 deer involved in collisions each year.
• Wildlife crossings significantly reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions by 85% to 95% with the help of fencing.
• For example, a highway in Colorado saw a 90% decrease in animal collisions after installing seven crossings, two overpasses, and five underpasses.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure what you mean by a "significant amount" of green bridges.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
