Make stricter laws on knife crime.
Knife crime is a serious and growing problem that destroys lives and communities. Current laws are too weak to stop offenders or prevent violence. Stricter penalties for carrying or using knives are needed to deter crime and protect the public.
Police should have stronger powers to remove weapons from the streets, and knife sales—especially to minors—must be tightly controlled. Alongside tougher laws, education and community programs can prevent young people from turning to violence. Stronger action will save lives and make our streets safer for everyone.
