Review of Self-Defence Measures to Protect Citizens of the UK
We call on the UK Government to review self-defence laws to allow citizens access to safe, non-lethal deterrents—such as pepper spray—for personal protection.
Violent attacks, especially stabbings, are happening far too often. Citizens feel vulnerable and unprotected in public spaces. Allowing controlled, non-lethal deterrents like pepper spray would give people a safer way to defend themselves and may prevent harm before it happens. It’s time for a fair review of self-defence options because the government is failing to protect its citizens.
