Ban the Use of Fireworks to the Public. Allow Only Approved Organised Displays
Fireworks should be banned for general public purchase and use, only permitted at council approved or legitimate public displays where strict safety measures are enforced
Every year, countless people and animals suffer injuries, distress, or property damage caused by unregulated private fireworks. The unpredictable explosions cause fear and trauma in pets, wildlife, and vulnerable individuals, including veterans and those with sensory sensitivities. Moreover, fireworks contribute to air and noise pollution, pose significant fire risks, and create unnecessary strain on emergency services.
