Petition Action

Ban gambling adverts to protect vulnerable people, like tobacco ads were banned

Petition Details

Introduce a UK-wide ban or strict restrictions on gambling advertising across TV, radio, online and public spaces, similar to tobacco advertising laws, to protect vulnerable people from addiction and financial harm.

Additional Information

Gambling ads are everywhere – football, YouTube, bus stops, and social media – constantly targeting people under financial stress. These adverts exploit vulnerability and make recovery from addiction much harder. I’ve seen how easily people can be drawn back in. It’s time for stronger protections like those used against tobacco marketing.
