Protect pets & families. Ban firework sales to the public.
We want the UK Government to ban the sale of fireworks to the general public and allow them to be used only at licensed, organised displays, to help protect animals, people, and communities from harm and distress.
Fireworks cause distress and injury to animals, wildlife, and people with sensory sensitivities. They can trigger anxiety and trauma, and recently a baby in Wales lost their life after a dog was startled by fireworks. Restricting use to licensed displays would protect animals and public safety.
