Petition Action

Make it mandatory for every workplace to have a specialist Domestic Abuse Lead

Petition Details

Make it mandatory for every workplace to have a trauma-informed Domestic Abuse Lead responsible for raising awareness, recognising and evaluating risk, offering confidential support, and guiding safe next steps for anyone affected by abuse.

Additional Information

There are concerns that domestic abuse has become a pandemic with no sign of containment. A Domestic Abuse Lead would raise awareness and bridge the gap before overstretched services step in, spotting early warning signs, assessing risk and providing next steps support. Early workplace intervention could save lives and ease pressure on services.
