Allow legal self-defence sprays for personal protection in the UK
Reclassify certain non-lethal personal defence sprays so they can be legally owned and carried for self-defence, with restrictions similar to other controlled items.
Many people in the UK feel unsafe walking or travelling alone, yet it’s illegal to carry any form of non-lethal self-defence. Law-abiding citizens deserve safe, legal options to protect themselves. The government should review laws to allow regulated, non-injurious deterrents like self defence and pepper sprays to help people feel safer without increasing violence.
