Require professional conduct and direct answers in Parliament debates
Reform parliamentary procedures so MPs must behave professionally and answer questions properly. Give the Speaker stronger powers to enforce order and penalise shouting, jeering, and deliberate avoidance of questions during debates and Prime Minister’s Questions.
Televised debates often show MPs shouting, interrupting, and avoiding questions, which would be unacceptable in any other workplace. This behaviour damages public trust and sets a poor example. Parliament should model respect, integrity, and accountability by ensuring proper conduct and meaningful, honest debate.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament as a whole aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Order in the Commons is the responsibility of the Speaker, and Members are responsible for their answers to questions.
