Stop the Sedgeby Solar Farm near Sessay, North Yorkshire. This vast 350 MW project and its lithium battery storage risk fires, destroy farmland and habitats, and harm our rural community. Prioritise rooftop and brownfield solar instead.
The Sedgeby Solar Farm near Sessay would industrialise North Yorkshire’s countryside, destroy farmland and wildlife habitats, and bring years of noise and disruption. Its huge lithium battery storage poses fire and contamination risks. We need safer, smaller-scale renewable projects that protect rural communities.
