Petition Details

We demand legislation to ban large solar on farmland classed as Best and Most Versatile farmland.

Additional Information

Mandate strict BESS (battery energy storage system) safety zones and buffer distances from homes due to fire risk. Give Local Authorities more power to refuse projects that cause community harm, and require upfront decommissioning bonds.
