Hold political parties accountable for false statements, fraud and manifestos
We want the Government to introduce a law making political parties and MPs legally accountable for false or misleading statements, and for failing to deliver key manifesto promises. The public deserves honesty and transparency from those elected to serve.
When ordinary people lie at work, there are consequences - the same should apply to our leaders. We call for a law that enforces honesty and transparency in politics, including sanctions for proven falsehoods and public tracking of manifesto promises. Trust in politics starts with truth.
