Ban on social media for those under the age of 16. Mimic the new Australian law.
The mimic the actions taken by the Australian government to protect the mental health and development of our young people. There is growing evidence of the social and personal halm that this causes. Especially to the brain development of those under 16.
To help the current and future generations. There is so much research to show how purposefully addictive social media is. It is detrimental if not used with an understanding of how it can impact your sense of self and well being.I believe that those under 16 do not have the ability to use these platforms without causing themselves and their social / mental health harm. Children should be active and engaging in real life, learning to how socialise face to face. Not scrolling their childhoods aways
