Hold an immediate referendum on calling a General Election
Hold a referendum as soon as possible on whether to call a General Election.
A general election cannot be called based on a petition of 1,000,000 votes, but a referendum can be called to give the entire country a chance to have their say. To deny the British people a choice would be undemocratic, and the people would be held hostage by their own government.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
You may wish to sign the following petition, which calls for similar action:
Introduce a mid-term referendum on whether to hold an early General Election
