Petition Action

Reduce Child ILR from 7 to 5 Years; End Part Suitability Rule.

Petition Details

We demand the Government reduce the 7-year ILR wait to 5 years for UK-born children, and permanently exclude the Part Suitability policy from their applications.

Additional Information

This reform upholds their human rights and child best interests, ensuring stability and integration in the UK without delay. The current rule delays stability, hindering access to education and healthcare. The proposed 5-year route aligns with human rights law, supporting their right to a secure life in their only home, ensuring compassion and fairness.
