Petition Action

Create shared database for professionals to log concerns about children's safety

Petition Details

Social workers, police, health and education professionals should have a single IT system where they can log any concerns they have about specific children's safety at home. We think a single system could flag up patterns of risk.

Additional Information

The government could implement a single IT data base that all professionals can access to keep children safe. We have the technology. Individuals are not detectives, but a small worry a teacher has could be similar to the concerns of health visitors, police and social workers. If all professionals could add to a record and get access, this could show a pattern and save children.
