Make secondary school blazers optional to students.
Students and families don’t like to blazer. it’s centuries old and isn’t professional. it’s a problem that sparks concern in british secondary’s that has a simple solution to it. why should such a thing cause so many problems in schools.Even when it doesn’t benefit us in any meaningful way.
Simply, the blazers should be removed. I’ll explain why in a few reasons. Blazers are expensive, with families on average spending £100+ per child on uniforms, with blazers up to £40+. A solution for the schools should be to print the logo onto jumpers instead. Another reason is that the blazer affects children, with it being uncomfortable and children refusing to wear it. We shouldn’t be annoyed at going to school for such a little item of clothing that doesn’t affect us. Please consider.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about uniform are a matter for individual schools, not the UK Government or Parliament. Government guidance "strongly recommends" that schools "consider how comfortable the proposed uniform will be for pupils" and "take a sensible approach to allow for exceptions to be made during extreme weather".
