Maintain the Existing 5-Year Settlement Route
Honour the commitment made to individuals currently working in the UK under the expectation of a 5 year pathway to settlement
A retrospective alteration to the expected path to (ILR) constitutes a breach of good faith and inflicts significant, unforeseen financial and emotional distress upon workers who have based critical life decisions on the existing rules.
